The capital of Sicilian baroque
Noto
A few kilometres from our boutique hotel lie Noto and old Noto, the greatest expression of the baroque in Sicily, whose historic centre was declared a World Heritage site in 2002 by UNESCO, together with other late baroque towns in the Val di Noto. With its wonderful Duomo, famous throughout the world, and its fairytale palaces, Noto attracts tourists from every part of the globe all year round. Centuries of history, culture and tradition, which never fail to move visitors. The historic town centre arouses deep emotion, with its timeless atmosphere, noble palaces, magnificent architecture and friezes, typical of baroque art.

The fascination of Magna Graecia
Siracusa and Ortigia
Among the not-to-be-missed places during your stay in south-eastern Sicily and i Carusi are Siracusa and its treasured offshoot, the island of Ortigia: a little corner of paradise just a hundred metres from the coast. Two essential spots for those who are passionate about history and art, easily reached by our guests. The Island of Ortigia is the oldest part of Siracusa, a little pearl where you can admire some impressive buildings of various periods, from the Greek age onward. The best way is to explore on foot, to experience and appreciate its fascination, before returning to Siracusa and the baroque town.
A powerful, impressive volcano
Her majesty Etna
An exciting day awaits you on Etna, during your holiday at i Carusi. Along routes of various difficulty, whether in groups, pairs or with your family, as you traverse the paths to the craters at the summit of Etna, you will have an unforgettable experience, surrounded by dramatic nature.
